Round 4!! And a fabulous freebie...

So excited I made it to the 4th Round of this fun Designing contest at godigitalscrapbooking!  I've learned so much and had so much fun getting to know some of the other ladies in the contest.  For this final kit, I created a whimsical kit in bold colors called Wonderland.  I was inspired by the whimsical imagination of those who created the original Alice In Wonderland book, and also those that have created movies, attractions, and rock bands inspired by this theme. Picture a dreamlike, fantasy place, Wonderland at night. This kit was designed to really make your photos pop with the contrast of such bold vibrant colors.  Grab it while you can for a LIMITED time over at godigitalscrapbooking and check out all the other fabulous entries. I have no idea how the judges will determine a winner because every kit looks so wonderful!!
I have another freebie that coordinates with this that I need to finish packaging and loading later so stay tuned.  But for now, I stayed up past 3 am to finish Wonderland for the contest deadline, and I am so trashed!  So check back later after I've had more sleep:)

Once upon a Romance...

I made it to Round 3 of the designer contest!!!  It has been so fun!  This last challenge was really a challenge.  We had to create most of what we did ourselves with limited use of a CU designer bag made exclusively for us, the contestants.  It really was fun though to "stretch" a bit as I created.  In other words, instead of throwing a regular frame in this kit, I tried to think creatively and came up with the pretty little frame below.  You can grab both the cluster frame as well as the kit, Once upon a Romance, at the gallery at godigitalscrapbooking.com!  Let me know what you think, and hopefully I'll be back with a freebie somewhere in between turkey and Christmas shopping!

Oh, and Happy Thanksgiving!

Sweet Liberty Freebie!

For Week 4 of the NDIDDS contest, we have all created 20+ papers as Part 1 of a Mega kit! My kit is called My Country Tis of Thee, and has 24 papers. It is available at a super low price at JDL for a limited time. The elements will be on available this Friday! I am so excited about this kit. I've always loved the time of year between Memorial Day and the 4th of July. And this kit is so perfect for scrapping those times as well as scrapping military or patriotic pages!
I had to try a layout with this kit even BEFORE the elements are available of my two girls at a 4th of July parade! We were loving their Liberty crowns!
The Quick Page below is FREE at JDL for a short time. So go grab the freebie (image is clickable), and the gorgeous patriotic papers of my kit while you can!
Don't forget to check back for the coordinating elements for this kit available this Friday, June 5th. :)

It's Freebie Time! Retro DayDream

Wow, this Designing thing is time consuming! But so very fun! I love it! Just wish I had more hours in the day to work on it. Here is my 4th attempt at designing a kit. These are just not my colors so it was tough starting, but once I got going, I loved it! It's called Retro Daydream because it takes me back to my early childhood in the late 60s/early 70s. A magical time when you could just sit and dream about the future ahead. This kit is retro yet sparkly and pretty. 20 elements! 9 papers and 1 Alpha! Check it out! Image is clickable. Or you can download for FREE here.
I also recently went to the Tulip Festival which is always gorgeous! And took so many photos of the tulips and my cute kids. I did this layout of my girls with Dancing Princess Designs' new kit, Phenomenal Woman available at GDS. And another one of my boy after that so keep scrolling;)
And here's my sweet boy! Made with the fun Sunsational kit by AliSarah at DID.
K. Can't really see many tulips in this one, but isn't he just cute? He really is a blessing:)

Happy Mother's Day! Hope everyone is warm on this sunny day!

Happy Mother's Day to all moms and grandmas out there! I've had a lovely day so far. Other than my dh thinking he was being "playful" by pouring a cold cup of water on me while in the shower. :P (He thought I was going to take too long in my nice warm shower and make us late for church.) He's never done anything like that. Not his usual thing. So should I be flattered or bugged that he did this precious thing on Happy Mother's Day to me. Took me forever to get warm again. haha
Anyway, back to Mother's Day. I did this layout to my daughter for my mother in celebration of Mother's Day-- Things My Mother Taught me that I hope to Teach You. Made with a beautiful new kit by Dancing Princess Designs called Butterfly Heaven! So many pretty things to choose from in this lovely kit! Get it here at GDS.
And, don't forget, I've created only my 2nd kit ever for the contest at DID and it totally fits Mother's Day! The pearls and roses remind me of my mom and grandmas. It's called Grandma's Jewelry Box and you can download it for FREE here.
